The document below was produced by a scientific committee comprising representatives from the ministère de la Famille, the ministère de l’immigration, de la francisation et de l’Intégration, the Regroupement pour la Valorisation de la Paternité, as well as the research community. The committee was formed to guide the research and analysis of documentary sources to provide an overview of the main challenges and issues characterizing the experiences of immigrant fathers in Quebec. The primary data source was the Enquête québécoise sur la parentalité of the ministère de la Famille.
